State Security Service denies reports of Armenian side about meeting in Sugovushan
Baku/19.02.21/Turan: On February 19, the State Security Service of Azerbaijan (SGB) denied reports by Armenian sources about the upcoming meeting of the head of the State Security Service, Ali Nagiyev, with the head of the National Security Service of Armenia, Abazyan, leader of the separatists of Karabakh, Araik Harutyunyan, and the commander of the Russian peacekeepers, Rustam Muradov, in the village of Sugovushan.
"The State Security Service categorically denies such allegations and declares that the public was informed about the meetings between Nagiyev and Abazyan." The message also says that the public will continue to be informed about such meetings.
The State Security Service calls on the media not to publish materials that could harm the state interests of the country and confuse public opinion.
It should be reminded that the message about the upcoming meeting of these persons was published on February 18 by the Armenian media with reference to the former Armenian Ambassador to the Vatican Mikael Minasyan, who is the husband of the daughter of the former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. -02D-
