In accordance with the presidential decree, Baku Choreographic Academywill be created on the basis of the Baku School of Choreography. The Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan together with relevant structures is to submit to the president within two months the proposals for the construction of Baku Choreography Academy to be built on the site where there is a building of the Baku School of Choreography.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to prepare within two months and submit to the President a draft statute of the Baku Choreography Academy. -02D-

On February 11, the Ritual Theatre and Creative Laboratory in Baku hosted a powerful documentary theatre performance, “The Melting Snow Stories of Baku,” marking the conclusion of a workshop dedicated to site-specific theatre. This workshop brought together 15 artists from various age groups, all exploring the transformative power of storytelling to address climate change. The event was directed by British theatre director Sebastian Harcombe of SECRET/HEART Theatre Company and Aynur Zərrintac of Ritual Theatre. It was supported by the British Council.
