Second book of Aydin Balayev's trilogy on the ANR published
Baku/21.05.22/Turan: On the eve of the Day of Azerbaijan Republic (28 May), the book "Birth of Azerbaijani Republic: National Struggle in 1917-1918" by late historian Aydin Balayev was published in Baku, author's widow, journalist Nailya Balayeva told Turan.
The new edition is the second in a three-volume book on the history of the Azerbaijan National Republic, which Balayev prepared in the last years of his life. The volume was published at the publishing house "House of Books".
A Russian-language version of this book was published by the author in the late nineties. Publication in Azerbaijani language was prepared with due regard for wishes of the readers," N. Balayeva said.
Note that historian Aidyn Balayev died unexpectedly in December 2021. He was born on November 19, 1956, in Baku. Graduated from the faculty of history at Baku State University in 1980 and also attended Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Balayev's books include "Azerbaijanis" (2017), "Mammad Emin Rasulzadeh" (2009), "The February Revolution and the National Outskirts", "The March Events of 1918 in Azerbaijan" (2007), etc.-0-
