527 Legal Entities Officially Ceased Operations Last Year
The State Committee on Statistics pubished data on the number of business organizations with legal status. As of January 1 this year, the Ministry of Taxes registered 94 563 such organizations (+ 9.9% per year). For the fiscal cycle, they recorded 9 130 entities, while 527 discontinued their operations.
The view is as follows: 9 252 enterprises are employed in agricultural industry (+ 2.4%), 5 583 - in processing industry (+ 3.7%), and 10 206 (+ 9.4% ) - in construction.
Most of all there are wholesale and retail trade outlets and enterprises involved in repair of motor vehicles and household goods (24 890 or + 6.6%), while the other groups are as follows: financial and insurance activities - 1 509 (+ 6%), real estate - 1 011 (+ 16.6%), administrative and support services - 3 429 (+ 10%), information and communications - 2 142 (+ 11.8%), health and leisure activities - 1 465 (+ 5.5%), etc.
Private enterprises are 82,370 of the legal entities (87.1%), entrepreneurs with foreign capital are 5 429, joint ventures are 1 754, state-owned enterprises are 10 540, and municipal businesses are 1 653. --17D-
