Baku / 28.07.20 / Turan: President Ilham Aliyev approved on July 27 the Action Plan for Ensuring the Effective Use of Water Resources in 2020-2022.
According to the decree on additional measures for the efficient use of water resources, the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to annually approve the balance of water management, and to adopt the rules for the ward use of water within two months. The Commission for the Efficient Use of Water Resources was instructed to coordinate measures in this direction, cooperate with NGOs, specialists, international experts, etc.
According to the action plan to ensure the efficient use of water resources, 10 reservoirs will be created to collect water from mountain rivers, and 22 reclamation canals will be repaired. -------08D--
