Attack on Pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum
An explosion occurred in the area of the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline passing through the territory of Sarikamıs, Turkey. According to Anatolian Agency, the causes of the explosion are unknown. Pumping gas in the pipeline has been suspended.
Currently, measures are taken to extinguish the fire.
Turkish media are convinced that this is a terrorist attack organized by Kurdish militants, who do not hide threats also with regard to the Baku-Ceyhan pipeline.
The terrorist attacks are a response of the Kurds to the Turkish army fighting against the Kurdish troops on the border with Syria. -16D-
