AXA MBASK insurance increases literacy
The insurance company AXA MBASK program AXA MBASK Academiya, with the aim of increasing the level of insurance culture inhabitants of the regions of the country, continues to implement a social project called “AXA MBASK educates people in the insurance industry.”
As stated in the press release of the company, the purpose is to familiarize the participants with the insurance industry project. Stories about the history, significance, products and distribution channels, the current situation in the domestic and international markets, and problems and solutions in the field are also in the view of the organizers.
The third workshop held in Lankaran City was attended by about 150 people. Leading experts of AXA MBASK elaborated on various topics ranging from differences in voluntary and obligatory insurance, the main features of insurance products and sales channels. A separate block was devoted to the nuances of claims settlement after accidents.
Similar seminars within the project have already been held in Guba and Ganja. The company's management believes that a high level of financial literacy has a positive impact on the regional economy as a whole, and on the level of wealth and incomes. On this basis, these seminars will be held in different regions of the country on a permanent basis.
AXA MBASK since 2010 began the process of implementing international standards of AXA Group in the existing business processes of the company. So, embodying the plan for development of sales through a network of insurance companies, and in a short time throughout Azerbaijan were started about 80 points of sales of insurance policies that meant to work with individuals and legal entities, as well as with financial institutions in all types of insurance.
European quality of service, as well as the timeliness and completeness of payments was the fact that the company in the short term has been awarded six international and national awards as the Insurance Company of the Year, the report says. - 17D-

Russia and Iran have agreed on a gas pipeline route passing through Azerbaijan, according to Russia’s Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov. The Russian minister stated that the parties are in the final stage of negotiations, and the volumes have already been determined. According to Tsivilyov, Iran’s agreement with Russia’s Gazprom for gas supply via Azerbaijan is currently estimated at over 2 billion cubic meters annually. However, future supplies could increase to 55 billion cubic meters per year.
