AZAL, Metro, Baku-Bus, Azerbaijan Railways Transferred to Investment Holding Management
Baku/12.02.21/Turan: The state airline AZAL, CJSC Azerbaijan Railways, the Baku Metro and Baku Bus LLC subordinate to the Baku Transport Agency were transferred to the management of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding.
The corresponding order was signed on February 12 by President Ilham Aliyev.
Recall that the Investment Holding was created by the decree of the head of state on August 7, 2020 with the aim of "increasing the economic transparency and efficiency of state-owned companies and enterprises with the participation of state capital, strengthening their competitiveness, financial recovery and improving stability."
Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the AIH, and Metin Eynullayev was appointed Chairman of the Management Board. -16D-
