Azerbaijan increased investments into oil industry
From January to November 2013 investments into the oil industry of Azerbaijan totaled 4,324,000,000 AZN ($5,529,000,000 on the current exchange rate), up 1,681,000,000 AZN against the same period last year.
According to the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee, in 2012 investments into the Azerbaijan oil industry totaled 3,648,000,000 AZN ($4,676,000,000 on the current exchange rate), up 17% against 2011. The growth of investments into the oil industry is connected with implementation of Chiraq Oil and Shah-Deniz Phase 2 projects. These investments constituted 23.8% in the total volume of investments in economy of the country.—0--
