Azerbaijan Moves to Intranet
The Information Technology Center (ITC) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan proposed the creation of an internal Internet network or Intranet in Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry, the creation of a domestic Internet network in Azerbaijan is expected on the basis of technical resources Azdatakom. At the initial stage it is planned to create a channel between providers at a rate of 1 GB per second. With the growth of the traffic increase in the speed of the channel is not ruled out either," the information says.
ITC offered creating such a network to more than 30 Internet service providers operating in the country. --17D-
