Azerbaijan Raises Metro and Bus Fares Starting July 1

On July 2, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has signed decrees approving three significant agreements with Tajikistan, enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of migration, industrial property protection, and technical information protection.

The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has approved a significant amendment to the agreement on the exploration, development, and production sharing of several mineral deposits between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan and U.S.-based R.V. Investment Group Services, LLC. This move aims to enhance the country's mining sector and ensure the continuation of strategic projects.

Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) welcomed a delegation from China's Jiangsu province to discuss increasing cargo flow through the Middle Corridor. The meeting addressed issues such as attracting new cargo, exploring future multimodal transport connections, and resolving mutual interests, including China's subsidies for transit shipments through Azerbaijan.
