Azerbaijan, Turkey Agree to Cooperate in Agriculture
Baku/18.03.21/Turan: The Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey signed a Memorandum of Intent on the exchange of agricultural technologies and cooperation in the field of agricultural training on March 17 in Baku. The document was signed by the heads of the relevant departments of the two countries, Inam Kerimov and Bekir Pekdemirli.
In order to implement the planned tasks to provide support to Azerbaijan in the field of agricultural development, the agrarian departments of the two countries will create a joint Working Group that will draw up an Action Plan for the near future.
On the eve, the Turkish delegation was received by Prime Minister Ali Asadov. During the discussion, issues were discussed on the exchange of experience in the field of crop production, animal husbandry, agricultural insurance, agricultural education, water resources management, environmental protection and development, green energy, as well as Turkey's participation in the restoration of the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from the Armenian occupation. ------08D--
