The institute is currently soliciting proposals from standardization entities and other stakeholders regarding state standards to be adopted over the next three years. As Azerbaijan gears up to host the 29th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29), the State Migration Service (SMS), in partnership with the COP29 Organizing Committee and COP29 Azerbaijan operating company, has implemented measures to simplify migration registration, enhance information dissemination, and expedite issue resolution for incoming delegates. Ulvi Aliyev, a representative from the SMS, highlighted these efforts during a briefing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport as part of a media tour organized to showcase Azerbaijan's preparations for the event.
