Baku Drilling School of SOCAR AQS Secures Three-Year Contract with bp
Baku Drilling School, an internationally accredited training center, is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a three-year contract with bp Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey (AGT).
As part of this contract, Baku Drilling School will provide training programs in Drilling Well Control and Immersive Simulator training, including Human Factor and Crew Resource Management. The primary objective of these programs is to equip both bp and its subcontractors' employees with the necessary knowledge and skills required to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
This collaboration between Baku Drilling School and bp marks a significant milestone in the energy industry, highlighting a shared commitment to develop talent and excellence within the Caspian region.

The State Statistics Committee (SSC) of Azerbaijan recently reported a significant rise in meat production and imports for the first half of 2024. Meat production reached 290.3 thousand tons in live weight, marking a 1.7% increase compared to the previous year. Simultaneously, meat imports grew by 23.7% in physical weight and an even more substantial 44.9% in value terms compared to the same period last year. This growth translates to an additional 4,900 tons of meat produced domestically and more than 5,000 tons imported.
