Baku to host the Forum of Financial Innovation
The international consulting company Hansa Fincon holds the Forum of Financial Innovation in Baku on June 4-5.
The event, which will bring together local and foreign companies, will discuss the development of private banking in the Caspian region, asset management for the premium segment, promotion of brokerage services in the region, the structure of investments in holding companies, and real estate investing. The focus will be the situation in the financial sector of Azerbaijan, as well as the possibility of entering the local companies in the European capital markets. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
