Bolt Company has unveiled its new Bolt Market product delivery service in Azerbaijan
In a move that marks a significant expansion of its services, Bolt Company has unveiled its new Bolt Market product delivery service in Azerbaijan, with the capital city of Baku being the inaugural location. This innovative offering takes the form of an online grocery store, offering a comprehensive array of essential products that can be conveniently delivered through the Bolt Food app.
Customers utilizing this service will have the flexibility to place orders for product deliveries at any time throughout the day. Additionally, there is an option to schedule deliveries and related items up to 72 hours in advance. To kickstart the launch, the first month will feature enticing promotions, including complimentary deliveries within a 1.2-kilometer radius and discounts of up to 50% on selected items in categories like personal hygiene and child care. Furthermore, products falling under alcoholic beverages and wine categories will be available at a 15% reduced price.
To initiate an order, users simply need to open the Bolt Food app and select their nearest Bolt Market grocery store from a list boasting more than 3,500 items. This inventory encompasses everything from fresh local and foreign products to essential long-lasting goods. The application provides transparency by displaying prices and estimated delivery times before confirming the order. Payment is facilitated through the application, requiring buyers to input their bank card details. Real-time tracking of the courier's location is possible within the Bolt Food app, with notifications keeping customers updated on the order's status, configuration, delivery progress, and approximate arrival time. Typically, delivery takes around 30 minutes.
Eduard Nagi, Head of Retail Development at Bolt, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, emphasizing the company's commitment to investing in the Azerbaijani market and its plans to expand the range and reach of its delivery services. The goal is to enhance competitiveness and convenience for local residents, freeing up their time for more important pursuits while alleviating the need for in-person grocery shopping. Bolt envisions extending its Bolt Market network of local grocery stores to other cities in Azerbaijan in the near future.
Notably, Bolt's grocery delivery service has already gained traction on the Bolt platform in 12 cities across seven European countries. Its entry into the Azerbaijani market underscores the company's dedication to delivering high-quality and punctual service to an expanding customer base.
Bolt, a multi-application platform, boasts a user base of 150 million people in 45 countries and over 400 cities in Europe and Africa. The company's mission revolves around accelerating the transition from personal car usage to shared mobility services, offering superior alternatives to its users. Bolt's diverse range of services encompasses trip booking, car-sharing, electric scooter rentals, as well as food and grocery delivery.
Presently, Bolt's travel booking service is operational in seven Azerbaijani cities, including Baku, Ganja, Mingachevir, Gabala, Shamkir, Sumgait, and Shaki. The Bolt Food service is available in Baku and Ganja, further enhancing the company's presence and offerings in the country.
