BSE Intensified Due to Corporate Securities
By 30.4% in comparison with the figures for November 1 last year increased the total turnover of transactions on all instruments at Baku Stock Exchange (BSE). The press release of BSE noted that the figure for January-October totaled 7,543,125,730 manat.
Most (54.1% or 4,082,324,730 manat) volume fell on government securities. Thus this segment recorded a decline of 14.87% with a substantial increase (3.5 times) in the corporate sector - 3,460,801,000 manat.
In the primary market the volume of bonds issued by the Finance Ministry was 69,860,230 manat (minus 14.13%), while in the secondary market it was 22,277,140 manat (minus 21.88%).
In the primary market of short-term notes of Central Bank the volume was 138,069,570 manat (minus 46.87%), and in the secondary market it was 312 808 570 manat (growth by 7 times). Repo operations by November 1 totaled 3,539,309,210 manat (minus 19.23%).
The placement volume of corporate bonds in the primary market in January-October was 1,894,359,170 manat (growth by 20.23 times), and in the secondary market it was 725,229,740 manat (+ 37.3%).
During the reported period, the exchange platform implemented placement of shares amounting to 837,314,460 manat (growth by 2.38 times), and on the secondary market it was 3,897,630 manat (minus 73.31%). --17D-
