Caspian Fish Co.-Azerbaijan recognized his mistake before minorities
Caspian Fish Co. Azerbaijan has stopped the process of elimination of Mingecevir Baliq, thus recognizing their mistakes in the process. The liquidation committee today the company announced the holding of a general meeting of shareholders to restore controls in the same format.
Liquidation process of Mingecevir Baliq, which controls fishing in Mingechevir Reservoir, began in February 2011 when it was decided to eliminate the fish business. On the premises at that time was actually built another company with the capacity to produce fish. However, the process was accompanied by the elimination of gross violations of civil law and the rights of shareholders, resulting in shareholders forced to go to court. The shareholders did not agree with the inventory and assessment of the JSC and other procedural violations.
According to one of the shareholders, the court, which lasted more than two years, actually came close to meeting their claim. However, apparently, Caspian Fish Co. Azerbaijan without waiting in front of minorities, decided to correct the error. On the agenda of the general meeting of shareholders, scheduled for August 31, there is cancellation of all the previous decisions aimed at the elimination of Mingecevir Baliq.
Caspian Fish Co. Azerbaijan was the unofficial owner of 95% shares of Mingecevir Baliq, which were drawn up in the name of its attorney Mehman Hasanov. In the past year, the shares became the property of Caspian Fish Co. Azerbaijan.
This company controls almost the bulk of the market of fish and fish products in Azerbaijan. President of the company is Manouchehr Ahadpur, businessman of Iranian origin. The company is at the group of companies AzFP Co ltd. - 08B-
