During 8 months azerbaijan extracted over 29 million tons of oil
From January to August 2013 the country extracted 29,121,300 tons of oil. The oil production decreased by 300,000 tons or by 1% against the same period last year.
Azerbaijan Stat Statistical Committee reported that in August the country produced 3,643,100 tons of oil.
In 2012 Azerbaijan extracted 42,984,900 tons of oil. In 2011 it produced 45,370,900 tons of oil, but in 2010 oil production totaled 50,834,300 tons.-0-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
