During the year, the number of taxpayers has increased by 61,500
As of September 1, Azerbaijan has registered 523,600 taxpayers. In annual terms, the tax base grew by 61,493 or 13.3 % of taxpayers, Turan was told in the Ministry of Taxes.
In the first eight months of this year were registered 49,963 taxpayers. This is 557 more than in January -August 2012. This year, 29,300 businesses and individuals took advantage of the electronic format of the registration process.
In Azerbaijan, most entrepreneurs prefer to do business without creating a legal entity. This is due to the fact that companies are subject to tax audits more often than individuals.
Since January 2008, the state registration of business entities has been done on a "single window" in the Tax Ministry and its regional offices. Since July 2011, registration has been held in electronic form. - 08D-
