Eight More Enterprises Receive Permission to Export Tomatoes to Russian Federation
Baku/24.03.21/Turan: Joint measures of the Food Security Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA) and relevant structures continue to remove restrictions on the export of tomatoes and apples from Azerbaijan to Russia. This information was disseminated by FSAA.
As a result of discussions held by FSAA and the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) on this issue, as well as joint video monitoring carried out on farms, and examination of product samples, since March 24, 2021, 8 more enterprises for the production of tomatoes have been identified (LLC Agricola, LLC Shams Botany, LLC AGROSTORM, LLC Bahra-2010, LLC Green Rancho, LLC Yug, LLC Trading LLC, Eco-Group 2018 LLC and enterprises owned by Aliyev Maharrem Heydar Oglu) and export of tomatoes allowed.
Note that to date, the relevant body of the Russian Federation has issued a permit for the export of products to Russia to 82 tomato enterprises. Currently, the export potential of enterprises authorized to export tomatoes to Russia is 236,948 tons, which is 131.6% of 179,956 tons of tomato products exported to Russia during 2020. —0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
