Exhibition "Tourism and Travel" - AITF 2023 to open in Baku on April 4
Baku/31.03.23/Turan: The 19th Azerbaijan international exhibition "Tourism and Travel" AITF 2023 will be held in Baku Expo Center from April 4-6, for the first time after a 3-year break caused by the pandemic.
The exhibition brings together representatives of the tourism industry, national and regional tourism organizations and government agencies from different countries. In addition to Azerbaijan, the AITF 2023 exhibition will be attended by companies from Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Cuba, Poland, the Russian Federation, Slovenia, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and other countries.
Note that Belarus, Poland, Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic will take part in the national stands.
This year Bulgaria, which is a permanent participant of the exhibition, is the General Sponsor of AITF 2023 and Uzbekistan is a partner country.

Consumer prices in Azerbaijan surged significantly in October 2024, underscoring the impact of both local and global inflationary pressures. According to the State Statistics Committee, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for October 2024 reached 103.4% compared to the same month last year. Key categories contributing to the rise include food, beverages, and tobacco, which increased by 2.6%, non-food items by 2.1%, and paid services by a substantial 5.8%.
