Expanded summer schedule of AzAL
CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AzAL) since May 20, 2014 has opened up new routes.
According to AzAL, with a frequency of twice a week, they will be flying to the Russian regional venues in Kazan (Wednesdays and Saturdays ) , Nizhny Novgorod (Wednesdays and Saturdays ) , Perm (Tuesdays and Fridays) and Rostov-on- Don (Tuesdays and Fridays) .
Furthermore, with a frequency of 2 times a week they have resumed scheduled passenger flights on the route Baku-Minsk/Minsk-Baku (Tuesdays and Sundays).
Starting from May 20, the number of flights on the route Moscow-Baku / Baku-Moscow increases to 4 times a day. Departure from Baku to Moscow is at 06.40, 10.40, 15.15 and 20.00. Departures from Moscow to Baku are at 09.50, 14.40, 19.00 and 23.35.

Data on Azerbaijan's oil exports for January-October 2024 reveals a significant drop in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, highlighting the challenges facing the oil-dependent economy. The country exported 495,484.05 tons of oil products worth $309.02 million, a decrease of 40.3% in value and 40.7% in volume compared to 2023, when exports totaled 925,225.07 tons worth $572.21 million.
