For manat not to strengthen too much, the central bank bought $ 536 million in market
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) from January to April in the foreign exchange market acquired $ 536 million (down 36.5 % compared to the figures for April 1, 2013 ) in order to maintain the exchange rate of manat .

According to the CBA, the average rate of manat in January-March 2014 amounted to 0.7844 manat to 1 U.S. dollar.
