In January 2014 SOCAR increased gas production by 16.5%
In January 2014 SOCAR extracted 691.5 million cub.m. of gas.
According to SOCAR’s information posted on its web site, this is up 16.5% against January 2013.
In January 2014 Azerbaijan extracted 2.69 billion cub.m. of gas. This is up 6.9% against January 2013. 25.7% of the entire extracted gas in the country fell to SOCAR.
In 2013 total volume of tank gas production in Azerbaijan reached 17.9 billion cub.m., of which 7,139 billion cub.m. fell to SOCAR.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
