In May, imports of motor vehicles fell by 4.1%
For five months of this year in Azerbaijan was delivered 39.7 million vehicles. Thus in May, imports decreased compared to the previous month by 4.1%.
According to the State Customs Committee, in May, was delivered to the country 8971 units of vehicles. In January, the figure was 7,130, in February - 6,962, March - 7,288, April - 9,358 units.
The share of passenger cars accounted for 90.2% or 35.8 thousand units of imported cars. SCC does not provide data for the comparable period last year.
In January-May this year were imported into the country buses - 420, trucks - ,3035 and specialized equipment - 440 units.
According to the SCC, the first five months of this year in Azerbaijan was delivered all kinds of vehicles and spare parts total declared value of $ 706 million is a 37% increase over the comparable period in 2012.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-May this year in Azerbaijan was released from the conveyor trucks - 55 cars - tractors and 316 - 310 units. It is noteworthy that on June 1, 360 remained unsold cars. The only manufacturer of cars in Azerbaijan is the Nakhchivan automobile plant where the assembly of Chinese cars Lifan is arranged. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
