International Bank of Azerbaijan extends the range of electronic banking transactions
International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) notes the trend of positive growth of electronic banking operations for the period from 2007th to 2012th years.
Thus, if in 2007 across all channels of electronic banking was conducted 243,800 transactions totaling 4.9 million manat, in 2012, the year the number reached 464,900 transactions totaling 14.1 million manat. Overall, in the years 2007-2012 through e-banking held 2,591 thousand operations for a total of 76.8 million manat.
According to the number of e-banking transactions in 2012, the year of 94.5% of the transactions were designed to pay for mobile communication (compared to the 2011th year of the number of transactions increased by 3.8%). Overall in 2012, the year to pay for mobile customers of the bank was held 439,000 electronic banking transactions for a total of 2.63 million manat. The number of operations to pay fixed line compared with 2011 increased by 83.4%, and the amount of payments increased by 3 times.
Last year, a large portion of the total money transferred through electronic banking, fell on transfers Kart Transfer (72%). Mobile payment is 18.6% of the total.
Most of the operations carried out by the electronic banking and ATM systems InternetBank. 90% of operations were conducted through ATM, and 44% of cash flows have been carried out through a system InternetBank.
