Micro-credit has increased in June by 2.3 %
Total loan portfolio of microfinance in Azerbaijan rose in June by $ 20.72 million, or 2.3% , to $ 941.03 million, with 507 thousand customers.
Since the beginning of the year the figure rose by $ 130.48 million , or 16.1 %, and for the year - by $ 221.19 million or 30.7 percent. The share of risky loans, compared with the beginning of the year remained at a level of 1 percent.
According to the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association ( AMFA ) , the largest creditor to its members remains Accessbank, which accounted for 31.2 % of all micro-credit .
Total registration was conducted on 32 microfinance institutions in the country. Their total assets amounted to $ 4,499 billion. Among the microcredit borrowers 28% were women.
