Modernization of financial training of postmen charged to Banking Association of Azerbaijan
BAKU/04.03.14/Turan : ABTC (Azerbaijan Bank Training Centre) will conduct training for staff of LLC Azerpoct (national postal operator).
ABTC (a division of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan) is the only local unit specializing on projects on " Modernization of the financial sector of Azerbaijan." This project is funded by the government, as well as the World Bank and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Cooperation (SECO).
Azerbaijan's first post office opened in 1818 in the city of Ganja. The Production Association Azerpoct was founded September 29, 1999 .
In April 2010, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan gave it a limited license ( without the right to credit ) for the provision of banking and financial services.
Today it unites 74 branches, 144 postal agencies and 1,513 post offices. -17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
