New technologies for the Baku automatic telephone stations
The Baku automatic telephone stations (ATS) will make a full move to NGN (New Generation Network - new generation technology) by 2015.
According to the Baku Telephone Production Association (BTRIB), already 70% of the fixed network of the capital transferred to this technology.
In particular, transfer to NGN is expected at ATS-428/429, ATS Gobustan and Gyzylbash, ATS-561/562, ATS-491, ATS 446, fiber-optic cable to residential areas Baladzhary, replacement of some enclosures.
The main difference from traditional NGN communications technology is that all the information circulating in the network is divided into two components. This signaling information is to be provided by switching subscribers and services, and direct user data will contain a payload designed by the subscriber (voice, video, and data). The path of the signaling messages and user load may not coincide.
NGN network is based on Internet technologies, which include IP and technology MPLS. To date, they have developed a few basic approaches to building networks of IP-telephony. - 17D-
