Number of Calls to STSKR in January-May Increased by 2.7 Times
In May of this year in the service of the Central Credit Register (STSKR) there were 192,617 queries, which is 2.3% less than the previous month. Of the total number of calls for only 0.3% was done by individuals, which in turn decreased during the period by 7.4%.
According to the Central Bank, within five months of 2013 there were 819,247 requests in STSKR. In comparison with January-May 2012 the figure rose by 518 thousand units, or 2.7 times. During the same period, by individuals there were 2,018 queries or 0.2% of the total.
On 1 June 2013 the total number of borrowers reached 1.7 million people, of which 1,688 million were individuals.
At the balance sheet date the number of sureties was equal to 622 thousand persons. The total number of credit data for the first time exceeded 5 million. -15B -

While overall figures edged lower, the sectoral breakdown reveals notable disparities between the oil and gas sphere and non-oil industries.

Azerbaijan’s industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs reported a modest 1.1% year-on-year increase in industrial production during 2024, reaching an output valued at 64.1 billion manat. The State Statistics Committee attributed the overall growth to a 0.5% expansion in the oil and gas sector, while non-oil and gas industries surged by 7.3%.
