Oettinger and Prodan to discuss holding tripartite gas talks in Baku
The bilateral meeting between EU and Ukraine on the gas supply between Deputy Chairman of the European Commission Gunter Oettinger and Ukrainian Energy Minister Yurii Prodan will take place in Baku on September 8, 2014, EC official representative Marlene Holzner said at a briefing in Brussels last Friday.
“After that we will see if holding of the tripartite meeting is possible. Commissar Oettinger said that this could happen in mid-September,” said Holzner.
She specified that the EU member-states have offered neither dates, nor the cities for holding the meeting.
Press officer said while answering the question that at first September 6 was mentioned as the date, but this information has not been confirmed yet.—0—
