
Preparing reform program on definition of disability
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection intends to carry out with the assistance of experts from the World Bank reform program service by definition of disability. The essence of the reform is to create mechanisms to eliminate direct contact between officials and citizens in the appointment of disability.
The new Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Salim Muslimov believes that the current system of appointment is subject to the risk of disability and corruption needs to be reformed . At a December 19 meeting in Baku with an expert group with the World Bank discussed the international experience in this field. There was interest in the proposal to eliminate full-time applying for a disability group and receive data on the medical history to assess the status of disability relevant electronic information databases .
During the meeting, it was considered appropriate elimination of the Republican Center of Medical and Social Expertise . At the center of the Republican recovery disabled will be created a special section , equipped with the necessary equipment for the investigation of cases requiring sophisticated expertise in the appointment of primary disability . - 08D-
