Purchase of land under privatized enterprises in the regions will be encouraged
In the first half of this year more than 270 areas were privatized under privatized joint-stock companies, as well as private facilities. At a meeting last week, the State Committee on Property was instructed to promote the privatization of land in the country.
From the beginning were leased to land more than 200 objects. Nevertheless, the pace of privatization and leasing of land is low. In 2013 720 objects were privatized, which brought to the state budget of 17.4 million manats, about half of the receipts from the privatization of state property.
In addition, in the first half were privatized about 370 small enterprises and facilities, including vehicles. At the money auctions were sold package stocks of 17 joint-stock companies, at investment competitions - of four joint-stock companies. Officially the State Committee for Property reported the sale through investment tenders of joint -stock companies: "Roza-Chorek", "Azersenayetikinti" and "Baki Chaychekici".
Currently the State Committee for Property owned 59 state-owned enterprises and stakes in 256 joint-stock companies.
Under the law, the land under privatized object is offered to the owner of the object. In case of refusal to privatize or lease, the land shall be put up for auction.
The State Committee for Property does not report the income to the state budget from privatization in January-June this year. 08D
