Short-term Notes of Central Bank for AZN 50 Million Registered

The Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) registered 500,000 short-term notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, 100 manat of face value each.

The maturity of the notes is 28 days. Earlier in March, FIMSA registered short-term notes of the Central Bank for a total of AZN 150 million.

Note that short-term notes are issued within the framework of anti-inflation measures. In addition, for the sterilization of money, the Central Bank, starting in June 2016, holds a deposit auction every week.  ----71D
