Special Training for Taxi Drivers
The Cabinet amended the "Regulations on the training and advanced training courses for drivers" in force since 15 March 1999. According to the innovation, the taxi drivers will be trained on ethical behavior.
In these training sessions, they will also be aware of the legal acts for the carriage of passengers by road transport.
Terms of the program and the time required for training courses for taxi drivers have been established by the Ministry of Transport. The courses are organized and conducted by the agency.
Recall that in connection with the improvement of the state regulation of business activity, since 21 December 2015 the licensing of transportation of passengers by taxi has been abolished.
According to the Ministry of Transport, taxi services are provided by about 5, 000 drivers, but according to unofficial estimates, there are twice more. ----08D
