Students awarded for an article about the role of the regulator in the securities market
The State Securities Committee summed up the contest for the best articles on the topic "The role of the regulator in the development of the securities market" among the students of the Academy of Public Administration (APA) under the President of Azerbaijan. Today, the building of the university held the awards ceremony.
The first place among 35 participants took the student third year Sahil Murtuzayev, who was awarded a cash prize of 700 manats and gifts. Winners of the second and third place received 500 and 300 manat. The remaining contestants received certificates and gifts from the sponsor - JSC PASHA Bank.
The Head of Public Relations of SSC Chingiz Huseynov said that the top five contestants the opportunity to do an internship at the Professional Committee.
The Chairman of the State Securities Committee Rufat Aslanli, the APA Rector Urkhan Alekberov and the chairman of PASHA Bank Farid Akhundov congratulated the participants and wished them success in school and life. - 08C-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
