The Chamber of Accounts reported expenditure in the first half of the year
The Chamber of Accounts in January-June spent 36.7% of the cost estimates provided in the 2013 fiscal year.
According to the website of the organization, they just mastered 1,304,251 AZN of the 3.55 million AZN of annual volume. The Ministry of Finance transferred 1.51 million manat, that is, there are savings in the amount of AZN 208,650.
The main cost was the payment of salaries of staff members - 679,740 manat or 52.1% of total expenses of the Accounting Chamber. The costs of other cash payments related to the payment of wages amounted to AZN 178,150, travel expenses, except for trips abroad, were 80,460 manat, and compulsory insurance payments to the SSPF were 192,270 manat.
The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan, reporting to the parliament, has been in force since December 7, 2001, as the body that controls the flow of the budget of the AR.
Leading employees (members of the Board, which consists of a chairman, his deputy and seven auditors) are elected every 7 years.
This structure is usually limited to general statements about the board meeting, without giving specific figures or data. According to Article 6.0.3 of the Law of Azerbaijan "On receiving information" ("Basic principles of information"), the disclosure of information on budget revenues and expenditures is the responsibility of government agencies, including the Chamber of Accounts. - 17D-

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
