The Central Bank reported that the official rate of manat on 4 February rose to 1.5858 manat per US dollar. Thus, the manat rose by 0.23%. In turn, the euro rose in ratio to manat, and on Thursday was worth 1.7582 manat, which is by 1.35% more than the previous day. On the world market there is growth of the euro against the dollar, and today by the end of the day one euro worth nearly $1.11, which is by 2% higher than yesterday’s rate.-02D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
