The EU Funded and FAO implemented “Strengthening of Agricultural Advisory Services” Project presents ongoing activities in the regions of Azerbaijan
Baku/11.07.20/ Turan: With the financial support of the EU and the support of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization in five regions of Azerbaijan, Strengthening of Agricultural Advisory Services” Project will be implemented.
The project plans to conduct a survey in five districts. In June, surveys have already been conducted in Samukh, Kurdemir and Ismayilli regions.
According to the survey, there is a need to create a strong communication mechanism to improve advisory services.
The report, based on the survey, will reflect the assessment of the current situation in Azerbaijan in the field of advisory services.
In July, surveys are to be conducted among farmers in the Guba, Khachmaz, and Lankaran regions. With consideration of the quarantine mode, it was decided to conduct an online survey through the Zoom program. –71D-
