Turkmenistan prefers exporting its oil via Azerbaijan
In 2016 Turkmenistan oil transportation via Russia will reach 700,000 tons, advisor of President of Transneft company, press secretary Igor Demin, told Oil Information Agency.
He said this year transportation of Tukmen oil via Russia is expected to total 770,000 tons.
In 2014 Turkmenistanexported about 1 million tons of oil via Makhachkala port and further through the Baku-Novorossisk pipeline.
Every year Turkmenistan increases oil export via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (over 3.5 million tons since 2013).—0—

Natural gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Bulgaria have been temporarily suspended due to technical reasons from January 6, 2025, Turan reports. Bulgarian «Bulgargaz» Energy Company has announced the suspension, noting that supplies are expected to resume on January 11, 2025.
