Ukraine is ready to assist in the development of space sphere in Azerbaijan
Ukraine is ready to assist Azerbaijan in the aerospace sector. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko at yesterday's press conference on bilateral cooperation in the space field.
Ties in this area have already been established.
In fact, 60 students at the National Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan receive education in professions related to space exploration, are school-based programs at Dnepropetrovsk National University.
In turn, the chief designer of the spacecraft design bureau Southern, Oleksandr Makarov noted that Ukraine is ready to share its experience with Azerbaijan.
He stressed that countries such as India and Egypt began the development of space industry in cooperation with Ukraine.
Makarov outlined promising areas of possible cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in space: the joint establishment and operation of space systems for remote sensing, placing in outer space Azerbaijani spacecraft by Ukrainian launch vehicles, joint research of the ionosphere, solar-terrestrial relationships, the possibility of predicting earthquakes by data satellite observations, and others. -06d-
