Winners of CBA tender known
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has announced the winners of its tender programs.
As stated in the official report, technical support and software platforms of information systems available to operate at the bank, according to the decision of the tender commission, will be managed by the companies GT Solutions, Sinam, Bestcomp Group, Foranx and System Technology.
Agreements have been signed with the companies. As previously reported, the tender was conducted in three lots. Lot №1 provides services to support information systems to software platforms available in the operation of the bank. Lot №2 includes the provision of support services to the software platform of the main accounting system. Lot №3 provides services in support of the technical platforms of information systems available for use in CBA. --17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
