A fire started on a ship in the Red Sea after an attack from Yemen
interfax.ru: A ship caught fire in the Red Sea after an air strike from a Houthi rebel-controlled part of Yemen. This was reported on Friday by the Associated Press, citing an American official.
The cargo ship Al Jasrah, flying the flag of Liberia, was attacked either by a drone or a missile, the agency said. At the moment, it is unknown whether the crew members were injured in the attack. Houthi representatives have not yet commented on the incident.
Also on Friday night, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that a ballistic missile was fired from Houthi-controlled territory in the direction of the international shipping route north of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The day before, this was reported by the Western media. Later, the Houthis threatened the Maersk Gibraltar cargo ship flying the Hong Kong flag, which was in the Strait at that time, with further attacks.
American warships were not involved in the Maersk Gibraltar incident, but CENTCOM said the United States continues to monitor the situation, as these attacks threaten the safety of international shipping.
The Yemeni Houthis had previously promised that they would attack all ships in the Red Sea bound for Israel, regardless of who owns them. After that, several attacks on ships in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea were reported.

In Earth's upper atmosphere, a fast-moving band of air called the jet stream blows with winds of more than 275 miles (442 km) per hour, but they are not the strongest in our solar system. The comparable high-altitude winds on Neptune reach about 1,200 miles (2,000 km) per hour. Those, however, are a mere breeze compared to the jet-stream winds on a planet called WASP-127b.
