Ukrayinska Pravda: Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, warns that preparations are underway to resume the Russian offensive operations on the Sivershchyna front.

Details: According to Syrskyi, the Russian forces are relocating the Storm-Z units [penal units of the Russian military - ed.] and carrying out the formation of assault companies for this reason.
The commander also said that the operational situation in the east remains difficult. The Russians continue their offensive operations on the Kupiansk, Lyman and Bakhmut fronts.
In particular, the Russians do not abandon attempts to oust Ukrainian units from the Kupiansk Forest and capture Synkivka, with the aim of blocking Kupiansk.
On the Lyman front, the Russians are carrying out offensive operations in order to oust the Ukrainian troops beyond the Chornyi Zherebets River. Artillery shelling was recorded there as well. In addition, they are moving additional assault companies from the territory of the Russian Federation to this area and training new assault units in base camps. They are also trying to demine potential advancement lines.
Serebrianka Forest continues to remain one of the areas of concentration of the main efforts of the Russian assault. On this front, unsuccessful attempts are made to attack Ukrainian positions with the support of armoured vehicles in the directions of Torske and Dibrova, as well as Yampil.
On the Bakhmut front, the Russians are making every effort to reach the line of the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal. From the north of Bakhmut, they are conducting assault actions towards Bohdanivka. The Russians are trying to create favourable conditions for the attack on Chasiv Yar and restore their lost position in the areas of the cascade of lakes east of Klishchiivka and Kurdiumivka, for which they are involving airborne troops and motorised rifle units from the Northern Fleet.
At the same time, Sirskyi notes that despite the large-scale offensive actions by the Russian forces, Ukrainian soldiers in all directions "firmly hold defensive lines and inflict significant losses on the enemy".
Quote: "Our commanders make all the necessary decisions on time, aiming at effectively defeating the enemy's manpower and saving the lives of our soldiers."
