RT:  The Ukrainian command is gathering forces to carry out a new counter-offensive in 2024, according to an article in the German publication Die Welt.

According to the publication, the starting point for the deployment of the operation could be a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper.

It is also indicated that the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny was not a supporter of the 2023 offensive. However, next year the operation that Zaluzhny originally envisioned will take place.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that since the start of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, Russian troops have destroyed 747 Ukrainian Armed Forces tanks and almost 2.3 thousand armored vehicles.
