A large number of enemy personnel and military equipment destroyed - Azerbaijan Defense Ministry
Baku / 31.10.20 / Turan: During the day of October 30 and the night of the 31st, the number of the armed forces of Armenia fired from various types of weapons, including artillery and missile positions of the Azerbaijani army units and settlements in different directions of the front, reported Saturday morning press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The fighting continued mainly in the Agderin, Khojavend and Gubadli directions.
Because of retaliatory measures against the armed forces of Armenia in various directions of the front, the enemy suffered losses in killed and wounded.
During the day and night, a large number of enemy manpower and military equipment were destroyed in different directions of the front, including two T-72 tanks, three BMPs, two Smerch MLRS and two BM-21 Grad, twelve different types of guns , one air defense missile system "Osa", one combat radio-electronic station, two units of automobile equipment, it was reported.
Starting from 06:00, the Armenian armed forces are bombarding the territory of the Terter, Agdam and Agjabedi regions, according to another message from the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
The military department also denied the reports of the Armenian media about the alleged military actions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the village of David-Bek near the city of Gafan.
In fact, return fire was opened at the enemy's firing points, firing from the territory of Armenia at the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Gubadli direction.
The Ministry of Defense announced that it would continue to take adequate retaliatory measures against the enemy.
The military department also denied Armenia’s allegations of the alleged use of phosphorus ammunition by the Azerbaijani army.
“We officially declare that the armament of the Azerbaijani army does not have weapons and ammunition prohibited by international law. By spreading such unfounded reports, Armenia seeks to conceal its war crimes against the peaceful Azerbaijani population,” the press release of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said. —06D-
