A meeting in Brussels is being prepared – Toivo Klaar
Baku/27.02.23/Turan: The work on organizing a meeting between representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Brussels continues. The exact dates have not yet been determined, stated the EU Special Representative in the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar in an interview with the Armenian service of "Radio Liberty".
"We are working in this direction, and that is why I am here in Yerevan," he said.
Klaar confirmed that the EU wants the meeting to be held between the leaders of the two countries.
"From our point of view, it is very important to activate the Brussels process, because we and President Michel personally attach great importance to it," he said.
Klaar expressed hope that Azerbaijan's readiness to establish a dialogue with the Armenian population of Karabakh will find real confirmation.
The most important thing is to establish a genuine and visible dialogue between Baku and Karabakh. "I am very encouraged by the fact that President Aliyev recently stressed this in Munich," Toivo Klaar said. ---0---
