A memorial ceremony for the victims of the terrorist act  committed in front of the French Embassy took place  on November 13.  Since last night flowers are being brought to the French Embassy in Azerbaijan.

According to preliminary data, the Azerbaijani citizens  in Paris were not injured

The Azerbaijani Embassy  is clarifying existence of Azerbaijanis among the victims of the terrorist attack in Paris on Thursday evening, a diplomatic source told Turan. According to preliminary data,  there are not Azerbaijanis among the victims. However, the French authorities have not yet released the full list of those killed and wounded brought to the hospital, and those who provided assistance on the spot.

At the same time, sources in the Azerbaijani Diaspora report that  they are trying to find out according to  own channels and through social networks. So, local Azeris managed to create a kind of network in Facebook and communicate to each other and through friends that they are safe.

According to unofficial data, in Paris are permanently and temporarily inhabited  thousands of ethnic Azerbaijanis, most of which are the citizens of Azerbaijan, and some  have the local citizenship. There are also many ethnic Azerbaijanis - natives of Iran.

Paris is one of the most popular places in Europe for thousands of tourists from Azerbaijan.

In the course of a series of attacks in Paris 160died and 200 people were injured. The number of victims is growing.
