A new agreement will Azerbaijan and Great Britain will sign a new agreement in connection with Brexit
Baku / 31.01.20 / Turan: The United Kingdom will remain a party to bilateral agreements between the EU and Azerbaijan during the "transition period" in connection with Brexit, reads the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the British withdrawal from the European Union on January 31.
The work will continue to agree on an appropriate agreement on further bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, the press release says.
“Azerbaijan is interested in developing relations with Great Britain in an ascending line, and the political dialogue between the two countries continues successfully. Great Britain is one of the most important energy partners of Azerbaijan. We are confident that regardless of Brexit, cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UK will develop,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. —06D—
